Holding Water Hostage is a subscription service. For each active subscriber per calendar month, one plastic water bottle is emptied into a natural environment. This is the entirety of the service.
You are paying $1.99 USD per month for the act of freeing water from plastic captivity on your behalf. This is a real physical act performed by us. You receive confirmation via the bottles freed counter. No other goods or services are implied or provided.
The water has already been freed. Refunds are not available for months in which a bottle was freed on your behalf. If a technical error prevented your bottle's freedom, contact us within 30 days.
Cancel anytime via your Stripe billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Bottles freed during your subscription remain freed.
We make no warranty about ecological outcomes. Water returned to nature is subject to nature's jurisdiction. We are not responsible for what the water does after liberation.
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
